§01 Precision testing

A chip, a reader, and a number that means something.

A closed-loop system is only as good as its measurement layer, so Waven built that first: a single-use test chip and a reader a partner can put in a clinic or studio, rather than a lab a member has to visit.

The Waven Kino Analyzer held in one hand
Kino Analyzer · reusable, calibrated, partner-sited
  • The chip is the test

Each Kino Chip is single-use. Scanning its QR code binds it to one person before the sample touches it; once read, it is spent. A result cannot be re-analysed or quietly reassigned to someone else.

  • The Analyzer is shared

The reusable, calibrated reader lives at a clinic, coach's studio or partner location. Keeping the expensive part in one place and the disposable part in the member's hand is what keeps a precision panel from costing what a lab panel costs.

  • Results land in the model, not a PDF

When the read finishes, the BioAge and the four sub-ages update on the spot, and the AI companion can walk the member through what moved since last time. Nothing is left to interpret alone; nothing has to be re-keyed.

What one read gives the twin

  • BioAgeOne biological age, next to the age on the passport.
  • Four sub-agesCellular, Metabolic, Micro-Vascular and Resilience — where the years are actually coming from.
  • DirectionEach one compared with the last read, so the member sees what moved and which way.

Kino measures a small panel of aging-related markers. Which ones, and how they are scored, is the engineering underneath — what a member and a partner see is the four sub-ages, the BioAge and the trend.

§02 Biological age

Four ages. One BioAge.

A single "biological age" hides more than it tells. Waven resolves four, each answering a different question about how a person is actually holding up — then weights them equally into one BioAge that can be compared with the birthday on a passport.

Sub-age 01

Cellular Age

How much vitality your cells still have, and how well they renew themselves.

Sub-age 02

Metabolic Age

How cleanly and efficiently your body turns fuel into energy.

Sub-age 03

Micro-Vascular Age

How well nutrients and oxygen actually reach the tissue that needs them.

Sub-age 04

Resilience Age

How well you buffer stress and keep inflammation down.

The four are scored independently but they are not independent — chronic inflammation, for instance, is allowed to weigh on the metabolic score, because that is how bodies work. Sub-ages are modeled estimates, useful for seeing what is moving and in which direction. They are not a diagnosis.
